My History

At an early age I was told I had artistic talent. I was also told, I'd never make it through college. That was my drive - I proved them wrong, and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Iowa State University. I worked for newspapers, yellow pages, and media graphics. I drew illustrations by hand for many projects. I was exposed to computer graphics early, and learned a variety of softwares along the way.

Then I married a race car driver. Life sped up considerably! Touring the U.S. for many years, raising our family on the move. I kept close to graphic design through art direction, and merchandising of the souvenirs I sold. Our crazy lifestyle took us halfway around the world, to Australia, New Zealand, and Canada, racing. I also had the need for speed, and set a land speed record at the Bonneville salt flats.
